Welcome back to the College of Arts and Sciences at Illinois State University. As students in the College of Arts and Sciences, you became educated in the arts, the sciences, and the social sciences, thus opening your eyes to wonderful new bodies of knowledge. You have gone on to establish yourselves in a wide range of professions, and we are proud of all that you have accomplished since your graduation from ISU.
Although we are Illinois State’s largest college, we pride ourselves on the individualized attention we deliver to students and the strong friendships that remain long after alumni have departed from campus.
Many of you have returned to campus throughout the years, often on Founders Day or Alumni Day. We hope that you will continue to visit and share your experience and expertise with current students and with the faculty, many of whom remember you well and often speak of you.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me or anyone in the College Office if we can be of assistance to you. And if you do not currently receive our weekly electronic newsletter, CASNews, every Monday morning, please contact Deborah Fox and she will arrange for you to receive it.
Sincerely,
Gary A. Olson
